Below is a picture that was taken before Sophomore year of my friend Katlyn and I in a kayak in Key West! :) I decided to post this picture because I miss summer and warm vibes. Right now it is cold and stressful. That is all.

The first detail I notice about this line is that the diction is very simple and straight forward which makes the quote easy to understand, but is not a good first impression for the author. It also does not give enough explanation or detail to form images in the reader's mind. The only detailed adjectives given are "giant" and "uneasy". What's Dr. Jekyll's favorite game? Hyde and Seek!!

For my analysis on The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson , I will be analyzing the quotes below and creating my own poems. The first quote is from chapter 1, where the text starts: He is not easy to describe... , ending with ...and yet I really can name nothing out of the way. This quote is describing Mr. Hyde. The second quote is from chapter 3, where the text starts: To this rule ..., ending with This is a matter I thought we had agreed to drop. This quote describes Dr. Jekyll. The two quotes are alike in the use of adjectives to describe Mr. Utterson's feelings towards Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Stevenson also uses alliteration when describing Mr. Hyde, "...something displeasing, something downright detestable" (Stevenson 5). He describes Mr. Hyde here as disgraceful and unpleasant. The book Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro is discussed in the blog below!! Continue reading to be informed, and if you need a place to write comments, I got you COVERed. Initially, my eye was drawn to the top right cover on Genesky's post of the boat because it had specifically shown a picture a particularly memorable scene in the book. I thought that it was cool that all the covers are differently designed because it shows how much room the book has for interpretation and design. The two covers below are the books that I intend to compare and contrast in the space below. :) These two images are unique because I feel that the one on the right focuses on a certain scene. When I initially saw the right cover, I thought it was representing the scene where Kathy is listening to the tape and dancing around.
